Hi my lovelies, I wanted to post about a product that I use frequently & yet I still find so many people confused by it whenever I pull it out to spray on their faces!
I am amazed by how many people don't know about Model In A Bottle Setting Spray. Recently I had some ladies ask me for an alternative product for their MAC Fix + and I had to say 'Although the name is misleading - MAC Fix + is NOT a setting spray but how about you try the Model In A Bottle Setting Spray...'
I do keep the MAC Fix + in my kit but I use it to give a dewy look to the face or if I want to refresh the makeup & go from a morning to evening look - I use it to finish off the makeup look. The Model in a Bottle, & is used to set the makeup in place and stop it from moving.
What Model in a Bottle say on the website -
Our Model in a Bottle Makeup Setting Spray is the one that started it all. With just a few sprays of Model in a Bottle®, you can lock in that perfect makeup look with no more touchups. Our one-of-a-kind matte finish setting spray makes sure you stay gorgeous by holding your makeup in place all day or night! Model in a Bottle Setting Spray is resistant to smudging, tears, humidity and water. It’s the perfect setting solution for normal to oily skin.
- Dries with a translucent matte finish
- Absorbs excess oil
- Doesn’t clogs pores
- Never interferes with or reduces the effectiveness of SPF
- Is fast drying, never sticky
- Has a fresh clean scent
- Adds moisture with Aloe Vera extract
- Not tested on animals
How To Use: Model in a Bottle is easy to use. Simply apply your makeup as usual, allowing your mascara to dry completely. With your eyes closed, use 2-4 sprays of the Original Formula Setting Spray to set your makeup in place all day and into the night.
The great thing about the spray is that is sets on the skin matte without affecting the highlighter or any dewiness I've created on the skin & it doesn't add any shine of it's own. It dries really fast, without drying out the skin but it doesn't leave a sticky or tacky feeling behind.
It truly does make the makeup last for 18 hours + which I've seen on myself & heard from clients when they message me after their event. I always prefer using this over the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray as I just feel it works a little better but I do have both in my kit
I've not had any skin issues such as reactions with it nor have I found the scent to be an issue to sensitive clients although I am still cautious and I advise you all to be as well.
I hope this little review helps - Too Faced Haul & Review will be next now that my site is finally allowing me to post again and I have put some more time aside for it especially!
