Right now before I go ahead & review this, I just want to say that I can no longer find this on the UK website. It was limited edition so I'm not entirely sure if they plan on bringing it out again... I snatched this up within minutes of receiving the email telling me it was available, & then I had to wait 3 weeks before it was even dispatched to me. It took just a little over a month to receive it it which is unusually long of NARS since I tend to get my orders within a week of placing them.
I know I posted a pic of this on my Instagram a little while ago but I really wanted to try it out before saying whether I like it or not but for the record I do love it. It is a fabulous palette & I am so glad I didn't rush & buy the individuals when they were first released. Since all the shadows in the palette are 1 grams but the individual ones are 1.5 grams - This is much more cost effective & even though you do get less product than in the individual shadow pots.
I'm a sucker for packaging & this was so chic. The typical NARS packaging is like a soft rubber which leaves finger prints marks all over. This is the same but not quite as noticeable. It includes 8 Metallic high shine shadows that can be worn on their own, wet or dry or even mixed. The Mirrored palette comes with a synthetic haired brush.
What the NARS website says -
"One to watch. Eight to swatch. Eight shades of mesmerizing Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow. Apply dry for sheer colour or with a dampened brush for a high-impact finish. Features new exclusive shade Ursa Major & mini Wet-Dry Eyeshadow Brush. Wet or dry, day to night. Double-takes never looked so good. Are you a #NARSissist?"

Mini #49 Wet / Dry Eyeshadow Brush
These do apply sheer when used dry but are all easily built to offer high pigmentation or I just use Fix + to spray the brush & apply it when which gives one swipe, full on colour. NARS did advertise these as sheer washes of colour when used dry but intense when used wet so it is consistent with their marketing of this palette. I also do love the way they smoothly apply either way and I find them very easy to blend when dry. When blending them wet, just remember to be quicker and use small circular motions with a blending brush.
The formula itself is great as it's usually hard to use a normal shadow wet since it ruins the eyeshadow itself and I usually have to scrape off a few layers so it can be used again. In the case of these shadows though, they can get wet and still work perfectly fine afterwards without me having to ruin it. Also NARS included a shade that is exclusive to the palette at the moment & is not available individually which is the shade Ursa Major - It's a Shimmery Chocolate shade & is absolutely gorgeous.
I had found one inconsistancy with 1 shadow which was Andromeda, this because even though it did apply more intense when wet, it wasn't as opaque as how the other shadows applied wet. I'm not sure if this is because of the formula or if I got an faulty shadow in the palette.
Overall I am so happy I held off buy the individual shadows as I prefer palettes since it means less time opening individual compacts & of course the better price is a factor too. If you decide to pick up the shadows individually - There are 12 shades to choose from at the moment (See image below) but I hear more shades will be released soon.
Have you tried these out for yourself? What did you think? Let me know your thoughts below!

I purchased this Palette myself & I did use my PRO MUA discount. I was not sent this or any other product for review.
